teaching

transmitting

S.A.M. is a teaching ministry, seeking to share sound biblical doctrine, train believers and ministers in God's Word, and transmit the apostolic gospel accurately and practically

What Paul had received is what he passed on: the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3). We must faithfully transmit what we have received, the faith once and for all delivered to us (Jude 3). Sound doctrine is in alignment with the Gospel (1 Timothy 1:11) and the inspired Scriptures of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:16).

The purpose of biblical instruction is love from a pure heart, good conscience and sincere faith (1 Timothy 1:5). Sound doctrine is of vital importance in a world of confusion, deception and heresy. We need to be trained to accurately handle the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15) and 'preach the word' at all times and under all circumstances (2 Timothy 4:2).

Jesus instructed His apostles to teach others to obey what He had taught them (Matthew 28:19-20). Paul instructed Timothy to transmit the gospel and biblical doctrine to faithful men who would teach others in the same way (2 Timothy 2:2).

counselling

S.A.M. is a consultancy ministry with a focus on churches and ministries, offering coaching for ministers and counselling for believers.

Sound biblical advice with practical application that leads to responsible living is our heart. As we abide in the Scriptures, we shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free (John 8:31-36). We seek to speak the 'truth in love' in order to encourage, edify and empower believers (Ephesians 4:11-16).

We encourage believers to express their faith in love (Galatians 5:6) and enjoy freedom in Christ in a godly way (v 13). We help people live in accountability before God and learn to live in the power of the Holy Spirit so the fruit of the Spirit can be the result (vv 16-26).

All things should be done in love (1 Corinthians 16:14) which is a life in the bond of perfection to the glory of God (Colossians 3:12-17). We are called to a life of love, dedicated to the will of God.

encouraging
equipping
empowering

S.A.M. is an empowerment ministry, with a heart to encourage and equip believers and ministers for the works of ministry.

The ministry-gifts of Christ are given to the church to edify and enable believers and thus build up the church in love, functionality and Christ-like maturity (Ephesians 4:11-16). Each member is important and can contribute to the whole. We help people find their gifts and place in serving the church and the world.

We equip believers in both charisma (gifts) and character (responsible stewardship and maturity) with a motive to do all things for the glory of God and well-being of others. Christ came to serve (Mark 10:45), and so should we. Christ came to do the will of the Father (John 6:38), and so should we. As we follow Christ and abide in Him, we seek to live as He lived (1 John 2:6). We are to grow into Him and become like Him (Romans 8:29).

reform
renewal
revival

S.A.M. seeks to bring reforms in line with Scripture, which lead to renewal and revival on an individual and corporate level.

The prophets of old and the reformers throughout Church history were God's voice to His people and the world, seeking to bring reforms in line with God's Word whenever things were out of place. Reforms from a prophetic voice according to Scripture bring renewal and revival to both individuals, groups of people and nations.

The Prophets and Reformers did not teach their own doctrines or new revelations. They taught from the Scriptures and sought to bring God's people back to Him and His Word. Living according to God's Word brings reform, renewal and revival.

In our teaching and equipping, we are devoted to biblical accuracy, pursue academic quality, and provide practical relevance. In our coaching and counselling, we seek to be personal, practical and prophetic. In everything we do, we are dedicated to the glory of God and well-being of people.
